Obituary of William Shields

Peacefully with family by his side at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Saturday, May 28, 2011, William "Bill" C. Shields of Strathroy at the age of 51. Loving husband of Vicky for 22 years. Beloved father of Sam, Rich, Roxanne (Mark) and the late Jessica (1993). Dear grandfather of Easton, Alexis, Kendall, Jessica, Joshua and Justin. Devoted son of Mary and the late Lawrence Shields (1987). Forever remembered by sisters Debbie (Brian) Chamberlain and Sherry (Dan) Tremblay and brothers Gerry (Carolyn), Ron (Sue), Bob (Jennifer), Larry (Kim) and Tim. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received on Thursday, June 2nd from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy where a Memorial Service will be held in the chapel on Friday, June 3rd at 11:00 am. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to COPD Canada Patient Network.
