Obituary of John McMahon

Peacefully at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Thursday October 31st, 2013 in his 93rd year. Formerly of Mount Hope, ON. A veteran of the Second World War and a life time member of the Royal Canadian Legion. Beloved husband of the late Evelyn Esther (Walsh). Loving father to Elaine Trabucco (Mario) of Stoney Creek, John Wayne (Carmen) of Hamilton, Diane of Hamilton, Danny (Rose) of Alberta, Patrick of The Yukon and Gail Winia (Julien) of Kerwood. Predeceased by his sons Donald and Edward, and his sister Peggy Clinton. Will be sadly missed by his sister-in-law Hilda (Doug) Singer of Montreal. Loving grandfather of Luisa, Sonia, Eddy, Teresa, Cory, Corrina, Jennifer, Amy, Tanya, Melissa, Crystal, Jeremiah, and Sarah. Adored great-grandfather of Lucas, Marina, Liana, Gabriella, Marco,Jessica, Mya, Philippa, Bran, Amber, Ariel, Matthew, Isabelle, Bailey, and Lucy. Remembered by many special friends from Trillium Village, Strathroy Senior Centre and the First Baptist Church, Strathroy. Visitation will be held at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy, on Sunday November 3rd, 2013, from 1-4p.m with a Funeral Service to follow at 4p.m. Interment will be held on Monday, November 4th at 11a.m. at St. Paul's Anglican Church (Mount Hope Cemetery), Hamilton. Donations in memory of John may be made to the First Baptist Church, Strathroy, the Royal Canadian Legion or a charity of your choice, would be much appreciated.
