Obituary of Francis Joris

Francis Patrick Johannes Joris ended his journey of 64 years with us on the morning of December 7, at his sister's home in Strathroy. His final days were spent in the dedicated care of his family. Beloved son of the late Frank and Nell Joris, predeceased by his brother Rien (Mary) Joris, and his sister Annie (Ted) Bosch. Treasured father of Kieth, Thomas, Alythia Benjamin, Jessica (Richard) Farr, Frank (Mellissa), Samantha and Edward and in heart their sister Christina Empey. Delighted Grandfather of Liam & Savannah Joris; Stephen, Matthew, Jeremy and Timothy Benjamin; Wolf, Clover and Rain Joris; Evan, Daphne and Logan Farr. He is also survived by siblings Gerdie (Tony) Aarts, Tina(Harry) VandenBrook , Toni Joris, Tony (Cathy) Joris, Mientje Joris, Fred Joris, Mary (Keith) Manders, Susie Vanderydt and Harry Joris. Cherished friend of Olga Mendoza, Alida Joris, Stan Empey and many close friends both here and in Costa Rica. A celebration of Frank's life will be held at the Lions Hall Banquet and Conference Centre at 432 Albert Street in Strathroy from 1 pm to 9 pm on Sunday, December 22.
