Obituary of Maria Pereira

Peacefully at Strathroy Hospital on Friday, December 13, 2013, Maria Olivia Pereira (DaPonte) passed away, in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Clemente Pereira(1996). Loving mother of Louis (Helen) Pereira of Strathroy. Cherished grandmother of Sandra Pereira of Toronto, Rob (Jill) Pereira of Kilworth, Rick Pereira (Shanna Croeze) of Strathroy and Andrew Pereira of Strathroy. Great- grandmother of Max and Victoria Pereira. Dear sister of Joe DaPonte of Rhode Island. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Visitation will be held at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on Sunday from 2-6 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in All Saints Roman Catholic Church, Strathroy on Monday, December 16, 2013 at 11 a.m. with Father Lucio Couto officiating. Interment in All Saints Cemetery to follow. In memory of Olivia, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the SMGH Foundation. A tree will be planted as a living memorial to Olivia.
