Obituary of Amelia Stone

Peacefully at Strathmere Lodge, Amelia passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 in her 96th year. Predeceased by her husbands James Wilson (1972) and Ronald Stone (2007). Also predeceased by her parents William and Lucy Cripps, sister Eva Shaddick and brothers Jack (late Joy), Fred (Anne), George, Gerald (late Eva), Bill (late Ella), and Ted (Pat), "Sis" is survived by her sister Catherine (Walt), sisters-in-law Anne and Pat and her brother Ken (late Iris). Dearly beloved mother of James (Eileen), David (late Jessie), Robert (Kathleen) and Thomas (Marg). She will be missed by many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Amelia was a member of the Sisters of the Eastern Star for 75 years. Funeral Services will be held at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy, on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 11 a.m. Visitation to be held 1 hour prior to service. Interment in Woodland Cemetery, London. In memory of Sis, donations may be made to a charity of choice.
