Obituary of Nancy Jane Thomson

Peacefully with her family by her side at Craigwiel Gardens Nursing Home in Ailsa Craig, Nancy Thomson (nee Slater) passed away at the age of 65. Loving wife of Robert “Bob” Thomson for 47 years. Beloved mother of Jennifer Thomson (Jim MacKichan), Joanne (Marty) Preece and Michael (Kristy) Thomson. Survived by her grandchildren Cassandra, Tyler, Megan, Cayden, Autumn and Briana. Dear sister of Gary (Tracy) Slater, Gayle (Dave) McVeeney and daughter-in-law of Ellen Thomson. Sadly missed by many extended family members. Lifelong friend of Charlotte Walsh. Predeceased by her parents Lyle and Dorothy Slater, step father Bob McIntosh, sister Janis Malcolm and father-in-law John Robert Thomson. Friends will be received on Friday, March 2nd from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at DENNING’S OF AILSA CRAIG 519-293-3331 where a funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 3rd at 11:00 am. Cremation to follow. Private family interment will take place in Nairn Cemetery at a later date. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society London-Middlesex.
