Obituary of Keith McCallum

Peacefully at Chartwell Parkhill Nursing Home on Thursday April 12^th, 2018 David “Keith” McCallum in his 88^th year. Reunited with his beloved wife Mary Isabel Baster (February 2007). Loving father of Lois (Gary) Smits, Martha (Jim) Boertien and David (Julie) McCallum. Proud grandfather to Daniel and Rachel, Lauren and Sarah, and Janessa. Keith will be remembered for his passion for farming and animals, sense of humour, and his compassion for friends and neighbours. Keith started farming on his family farm at the age of 14. His life revolved around beef farming and raising his family on the farm he loved. The family would like to thank the staff at Chartwell Parkhill for the love and amazing care that they provided for the past 1 ½ years.. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 16^th, 2018 from 2:00p.m. to 4:00p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00p.m. at DENNING’S OF AILSA CRAIG. A funeral will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 17^th at 1:00p.m. Interment to follow at Poplar Hill Cemetery. Keith’s wishes are to have donations go to either Salthaven Wildlife and Education Centre in Mt. Brydges or to the London Humane Society.
